Anyone else bothered by how many time the joker hits his ball before he serves it???

🤬. He hits it with the racket 5 times, THEN HE BOUNCES IT 10 times before he hits the damn thing?? Does it bother ANYONE ELSE??? He’s a great tennis player, but come on man just hit the damn thing. Sheesh. Oh and, JMHO.

of deliberate stalling taking place - in between one pitch and another, in major league baseball.

Same with the batter having to step in. Also now timed.

And I probably shouldn't have used the term 'reigning example' - (as I clearly did) - because that was admittedly misleading.

But it had to get to point of ridiculous exaggeration before they finally did something about it. (and because officials, fans, and to some extent players, were all sick to death of it)

And - in all examples presented - it is in furtherance of head-games, as opposed to performance. Along with being extremely tedious.

I thought the pitch clock and throw over rules would be horrible, but I was wrong - they work pretty darn well.

the serve clock to the second serve, as well.

I loved the way Mensik ( who’s ~ 6’4”)!handled his endless ball bouncing- Did you notice? He just remained standing upright until the last second & then got into position to receive serve.

And, so glad Mensik won!! 😉

I don’t like the Djoker’s arrogance- since his handling of the whole Covid crisis @ AO. When his dad tried to say that Djoker was “being crucified on the cross like Jesus” 🙄, I realized where the arrogance comes from. Nonetheless, he is the GOAT- but, hopefully someone else will claim that mantle in the future.

Lost the first set……although sometimes that doesn’t mean squat….i think he lets his opponent win the first set just to keep playing for the three sets. But here, now, he is down in the 2nd, it’s early. Playing a Tabilo, personally don’t know him, and he’s holding his own. Tennis channel just showed a stat….this guy HAS beaten the Joker previously.
