The LIV golfers are like trees in a biosphere, they are weak without resistance (wind-competition).

Brysion’s best option so far seems to be hitting into sand traps which isn’t a winning strategy.

Looks like a duel…. on a nice day. Light wind. Unless Rory or Math Boy explode Connor’s is going to have to go lights out to even be a factor.

Rory is a gentleman golfer. I admire him immensely.

And Rory earned his Grand Slam brilliantly! I'm so impressed by this young man.

As an avid golfer, I have a minor point to make. In the Rules of Golf, there is no such thing as a "trap." There are "bunkers," some of which are filled with sand and others that are just grass.

It's not that important and I'm not a curmudgeon, at least regarding Golf! However, words have meanings and too often, vernacular bastardizes the language.

So, they're both 10 under now.

And, Dechambeau stumbled.
After a shaky 2nd hole, Rory birdied 2 of the next 3 & Dechambeau made a couple bogets.
McIlroy went from 1 behind to 3 up in three holes.
Still at -12.

So, they're half way through hole nine with RM up by 3. Both in really good shape for 2nd shot on 9.

McIlroy gave back a stroke & Justin Rose just birdied 18. All tied up.
Then Rory missed a birdie putt on 16 that looked good the whole way. It just wouldn't go in.

Come on Rory……

It all started when he regular caddie left and he took on his childhood buddy to caddie for him.

Just a par for the win.

That 2nd shot was terrific.
He didn't putt very well today, so he just hit one too close to miss!

I was blown away—both by the quality of play and the incredible mistakes.

But Rory hung in there.

Been playing and watching golf for a long time and that was unlike anything I’ve seen.

This should give him a lot of confidence going forward. He dug himself out.

Justin Rose’s performance was better than Rory’s, but he was a little too far back.

Damn!

Good on those two.

Was also happy that Bryson Dechambeau lost. He’s a trumper.
