So grab that ticket at the low, low price of $16,475.
Get them while they last, they're selling fast.
This K-shape economy will not wait for you.
Championship Game for only $16,475 is a bargain.
If you want the Pavilion+ seating, those are going for $17,725.

(6,713 posts)With immigration cracking down, jet fuel facing shortages and the price of tickets, who can afford to go?

(10,843 posts)I wanted to go to a game or 2 in El Eh (LA with a Spanish accent), but even those tickets are selling at $2K
Not worth it to me.
US citizens can't afford these prices, and when ICE start grabbing fans at airports entering to watch the games, the only way to watch the games will be on TV.
Stadiums are going to be empty.
At least that's my prediction.

(4,059 posts)Would much rather watch Olympic hockey, basketball, etc than soccer to begin with.
FIFA is so corrupt in how they administer things (so are the Olympics, but that is another rant)
Big deal worldwide but the WC Finals will have a lower TV rating in the US than a typical Thursday, Monday, or Sunday Night NFL football game.

(13,071 posts)After Paramount mergers with Fox Sports, Watching on TV will be $5,000 per game. With half going to trumps Qatar Bank account. Some say.

(114,149 posts)I only wish all would happen in time for Canada and Mexico to reap the benefits of those matches--if it were even remotely possible to add to their schedule.
As to the US cities that worked hard for those World Cup events, I feel badly for them, but I think they are not going to benefit as they had hoped. Ditto, Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympics, I suspect--especially if Trump is still in office and insinuating himself into every aspect of the ceremonies.

(196,805 posts)He may do something from the White House but hes knows those arent his people. His people HATE the Olympics anyway.
Not that he cares but him going to LA would be a security and traffic nightmare.
What hes really looking forward to is the UFC at the WH.

(10,843 posts)There are three key reasons behind the reported plunge and it may soon affect other aspects of the tournament.
