I'm seeing a ton of balks this season, more than I ever remember seeing before.

I’ve only seen a handful, myself. I’ve seen a few pitch clock violations too but not as many as I thought I’d see.

I wonder if the peculiarities of the timing clock is triggering a lot of them.

The team shrugged it off claiming it was simply that good a move.
Every base stealer swore it was a balk.
This sure looks like a balk to me.
