I think it was WSCR, but may have been WMVP.
They said a big part of his success this year is that he slowed down his slider.
The break is less flat he can find his spots better.
The difference in speed between his fastball, slider, & curve creates a 2 tiered change of pace, all with different movement.
Made sense to me.
