Note: they had enough smarts to put in a pinch-runner for Wilmer Flores because both Flores and Bailey would have been tagged out rounding third (Wilmer is that slow!).

That was an instant home run in any other ballpark.
There's electricity in this roster. Magic Wandoo is resurfacing.

Bennie Tate, playing for the Washington Senators, did it in the 11th inning, August 11, 1926, against the Yankees, second game of a doubleheader. It was his only home run in 59 games that year.
