Rennie Stennet passed away today

A great infielder for a World Series team.

A badass on the best Pirates squad in my lifetime.

He once went 7 for 7 in one of the very last games i saw with my Grandfather.

Started 2nd base in the 1st MLB game ever started by an all black team.

Gone too soon at 72

Pretty soon, all the living witnesses will be gone, too.

Not you, of course, Sargent.
