Singles and doubles hitter with no speed and a defensive liability - which is why he moved around positions so much. I hope he never gets into the hall. Violated the most important rule in baseball.

Past his prime in fact. Less than 200 stolen bases over 24 seasons ain't nothing to brag about. The Gold Gloves were early in his career for outfield and he was moved there from second and third base because he wasn't good enough to play them. He also was a cheater and liar.

"Charley Hustle" wasn't a compliment but mocking because they were making fun of his "extra effort" as showboating.
