A great pitcher who’s also a quality hitter, that’s almost unnatural. The last great pitcher who could hit that well was Babe Ruth, and he got moved to right field. But this guy can keep pitching and still hit like that.

...the vast majority of people would not process the spatial changes fast enough to accurately assess distance (depth perception). They'd be way late to the ball, even if they started early enough.
