A great pitcher whos also a quality hitter, thats almost unnatural. The last great pitcher who could hit that well was Babe Ruth, and he got moved to right field. But this guy can keep pitching and still hit like that.

(15,367 posts)probably shatter my wrists, my forearms, and possibly both my elbows. I'd get some distance on the ball, maybe as far as second base, but that'd be almost entirely the kinetic force of the pitch.

(74,059 posts)...the vast majority of people would not process the spatial changes fast enough to accurately assess distance (depth perception). They'd be way late to the ball, even if they started early enough.
That's what makes major league hitters major league hitters.
It's easy to get bat speed. Seeing the ball to contact is a gift.
