▶️ Carolina Wren Hiding from Hawk

Carolina wren hiding from a hawk under a piece of wood. A hawk flew into the area while this little Carolina wren was feeding on the log. The wren slipped under the log and waited for the hawk to leave.

I had one build a nest in the planter right outside my bedroom. We formed a symbiotic relationship, the family provided me with endless entertainment and I provided security from marauding squirrels. Anytime a squirrel was near one of the adults would come to the window and make an awful noise until I came out and scared the squirrel away.
