(6,036 posts)But, Bill could get his fifth win! You think the nation isn't thirsting to see that? NFL meanies.

(5,961 posts)But with both teams clinching their playoff positions, they'll probably be resting key players with nothing to play for.
The games that do matter will be fun to watch, however, and I'll be excited about the Buffalo/Miami game.

(32,512 posts)Armstead will probably remain on the I.L. I wouldn't be surprised if Trent Williams was benched and if Purdy played just one or two quarters along with Bosa, Kittle, Samuels, Warner, Greenlaw ...
49ers opened as +3.5 favorites at Caesars. My money would be on the Rams to cover this one.

(5,961 posts)I'd like to see the Rams make it to the NFC championship game, so we can do the same at home to them that they did to us a couple years back.

(32,512 posts)Rams are sitting QB Stafford, WR Cooper, DE Donald and a few others. Should feel a bit like a pre-season game.

(5,961 posts)We don't get the game in our area, and I don't think I'll bother streaming it on my laptop. Both teams are resting for the playoffs, and I wish the Rams well in their games. There's nothing I'd rather see than a Niner/Rams championship game at Levi stadium.
They knocked us out two years ago, and it's our turn to do it to them on our way to the Super Bowl.

(24,053 posts)But it took until Week 17 to put that thinking cap on. I feel like NY Jets games were forced down my throat most of the season. Of course the schedulers thought they were putting Aaron Rodgers in primetime. Should have "flexed" the Jets out of there after Rodgers went down in Week 1.
I saw more Raiders than I wanted to this season as well. That was the Las Vegas factor, no doubt.
