Tainted bullshit ending. Bailed out the gamblers, NFL is National FIXED League

(74,063 posts)A parade of errors by my Bears.
The soft defense on the play before was a 13 yard gift. The difference between the ball getting to the 2 yard line and not.
The rush of the play itself was a comedy. The rushmen are supposed to contain not sack, so they let a quick guy like Daniel's scoot around for 13 seconds before he threw. Terrible situational football.
Finally, Stevenson's job was to go behind the bunch and be the backing. Instead, he joined the scrum & ended tipping the ball to the receiver. His job was to cover anybody deeper. But, instead he tried to play hero & cost his team the game. Really dumb play.
I predict he won't be playing next week, especially after taunting the Commanders' fans.
As memorable as the play was, the cascade of mental failures are responsible for creating it.
