Some fans felt so strongly that they went further than just ripping Watsons jersey, they set it on fire.
We had a great thing going, and it was ruined all by Watson, said Baughman.
These diehard sports fans say Cleveland deserves better, and theyre sick of waiting for next year.
Ive said it every single year, said Crowley. I mean, like I said, Im 20. My dads 52, hes said it every year. My grandpas 77, hes said it every year. Theres always next year. And theres never been that next year where we even made the Super Bowl, much less winning. So at this point, its just like, yeah, theres next year, but we know its already going to be a disappointment. Like, whats even the point anymore?

(4,587 posts)The Haslams are billionaires and huge trump supporters. They want us peasants to pay for a new stadium when they could pay for it themselves. Like most republicans, they have no moral compass. Bringing Deshaun Watson in was a tipping point. Just like the idiot Nutting that owns the Pittsburgh Pirates horrible people who ruin nice things for everyone.

(32,509 posts)and you know, Haslam doesn't give a damn. If fans boycott he can try to move the franchise again. He's already looking to the suburbs.
He is a heinous creature. Cleveland's own Trump.

(4,587 posts)They just want to make more money and have us pay for it. It is heartbreaking for the fans.

The Guardians are remarkable.
It filters down from the top.
The opportunity for creating an exciting, retail and entertainment venue at Browns' stadium is sitting right next door -- the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Bring the two together. It could be epic.
