My mother was so taken with these that she insisted we stop at a nursery and buy one to take home. I think we were in NC somewhere. Well the nursery man wouldn’t sell us one when he asked where we lived. He asked if we lived north of Columbus, Ohio which we did, so he said it wouldn’t survive the winter and refused to sell us one. My mother was so heartbroken.

I have one in my front yard, a more fuschia pink. Growing great this year with lots of blooms.
