Police say at least 30 people have died in a stampede at the massive Maha Kumbh festival in India

This tragedy keeps happening in India. The government is not doing enough to protect its citizens that are participating in this religious holiday event. Not to mention the fact that the rivers that are bathed in are disgustingly polluted. Tens of millions are clamoring to go in to the rivers, but they are polluted with industrial waste, human, and animal feces. So not only do they face the possibility of being sickened by the pollution of the rivers, they face the danger of being trampled due to what appears to be India's government lack of preparation, despite the fact that this is an annual holiday.
