I'm glad I wandered over here today and found such a nice surprise. I'm not sure how to do smilies anymore, so (((hug)))!

As for the smilies, under the title and above the text box are several buttons. The smilies button is the last one. Once inside the smilie box be sure you also click on the button with the ... as this will extend to give you more choices.
I can't believe I Couldn't see that. Dammit, I need to wear glasses while online now
