(Jewish Group) Full text of DSA's anti-Semitic Resolution 22.

Anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism in intent or effect because it attacks the foundational legitimacy of Jewish self-determination and statehood.

It is distinct from criticism of the policies or actions of the government of Israel

-------------------------------------

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the largest socialist organization in the United States, passed an anti-Zionist resolution on Sunday that supports the Palestinian right to resist and makes supporting Israel an expellable offence.

The resolution, which passed with a 56 to 43 percent vote at DSA’s biennial convention, also allocates resources to pro-Palestine organizing and emphasizes the Palestinian right to return "from the river to the sea".

Standards and Orientation

Therefore, be it resolved, that DSA shall make organizing in solidarity with the Palestinian cause a priority until Palestine is free, unequivocally affirming our commitment to ‘al-Thawabit’, the principles originally set by the Palestinian National Council in 1977 and repeatedly reaffirmed since, which are the Palestinian people’s right to resistance, the Palestinian right to self-determination, the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine, and the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland from the river to the sea;

Be it resolved, that DSA shall expand on the expectations, established by the “Make DSA an Anti-Zionist Organization in Principle and Praxis” resolution ratified by the 2023-2025 NPC, that DSA candidates support the BDS movement, refrain from any and all affiliation with the Israeli government or Zionist lobby groups, and pledge to oppose legislation that harms Palestinians and support legislation that supports Palestinian liberation, by affirming that these commitments as detailed in this resolution must hold true for all candidates endorsed by national DSA or a DSA chapter;

Be it resolved, that any candidate questionnaires used to determine national and local endorsements must inquire about the candidateʼs position on BDS and should include further scrutiny on the candidate’s commitment to Palestinian liberation;

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Expellable offenses include:

- consistently and publicly opposing BDS
- affiliation with any Zionist lobby group such as AIPAC, J Street, or Democratic Majority for Israel
- knowingly providing material aid to Israel (e.g. voting) to provide Israel with material aid
- making statements that “Israel has a right to defend itself”
- making or endorsing statements or legislation equating anti-Zionism with antisemitism

----------------------------------------------------------------------

There's also an action plan for achieving BDS at the municipal level.

We have a Republican Mayor and 6 Democratic Council Members.

So they can't threaten or intimidate us. We aren't Democratic Socialists - and they all need to be kicked out of the Democratic Party.

PS - My Mayor is a RINO who used to work for Chris Christie. She never voted for Trump. She had HRC, Biden, and Harris signs on her yard. Also - she's Jewish. One of us has the heritage (myself) and another Council Member is also Jewish).

2. DSA is authoritarian and doctinaire in the extreme. And for all its hipster posturing,

it sure does love the linguistic flourishes of establishment bureaucracies.

I haven't read this many "Whereas..." and "Be it resolved..." clauses since my township's proclamation dedicating the new picnic tables at the local library.

The hateful antisemitic and anti-Zionist language used by DSA originated in the offices of the Kremlin.

The Democratic Party needs to take a stand and refuse to allow itself to be hijacked by extreme ideology.

6. The DSA suddenly came into a lot of money around 2012 or so.

It ballooned from a small organization to a huge network with thousands of chapters. Right at the same time that Putin consolidated total power and invaded Crimea. Right in time to elect Trump. Poised to begin amplifying identical anti-Israel messaging - complete with graphics and cute emojis - on Oct 8, 2023.

I hate to keep blaming Putin for everything but the DSA has Putin's DNA all over it.
