(JEWISH GROUP) Buchenwald can refuse entry to people wearing Palestinian keffiyeh, German court rules

A German court has ruled that a Nazi concentration camp memorial has the right to refuse entry to those wearing the Palestinian keffiyeh scarf.

The higher administrative court in the eastern state of Thuringia on Wednesday rejected a request from a woman to be allowed entry to the Buchenwald concentration camp memorial while wearing a keffiyeh.

According to local media reports, the woman was turned away when she attempted to attend a commemorative event marking the 80th anniversary of the camp’s liberation in April while wearing the scarf.

She then petitioned the courts to allow her to return to the memorial for another commemorative event this week while wearing a keffiyeh.

The court found that the memorial was within its rights to deny her entry, pointing to the woman’s declared aim of “sending a political message against what she saw as the [memorial’s] one-sided support for the policies of the Israeli government”.

How fucking ignorant can she possibly be? Is she really this much of an idiot?

The court found that the memorial was within its rights to deny her entry, pointing to the woman’s declared aim of “sending a political message against what she saw as the [memorial’s] one-sided support for the policies of the Israeli government”.

They are getting there. The anti-semites are getting there. They want to go so far as to erase Shoah memorials or turn them into Palestinian Memorials. She doesn't need to be there:

“It is unquestionable that this would endanger the sense of security of many Jews, especially at this site,” the court said.

The court said the woman’s right to freedom of expression was outweighed in this case by the memorial’s “interest in upholding the purpose of the institution”.

I'm going to add a point . . . when in Rome - don't get annoyed if you are wearing bootie shorts and a tank top and wish to go into a Cathedral - and they make you put on a paper or plastic 'tent dress'.

If you can dress appropriately to enter Basilica di Santa Maria in Cosmedin (Roman Holiday - the church where Audrey Hepburn puts her hand in the mouth of the truth) - then you can certain dress appropriately entering what is essentially a graveyard.

There is no difference. If you can't respect the place/environment - then you shouldn't be there.

Who's her lawyer?

Why is the British media just calling her "the woman".

What happened to reporting?

ETA - Here's what i found via AI:

Recent news reports indicate that a German court upheld the right of the Buchenwald concentration camp memorial to deny entry to a woman wearing a keffiyeh. However, the reports don't explicitly name the woman involved in the lawsuit, only referring to her as "a woman" or the "petitioner". She had intended to make a political statement against the memorial's perceived one-sided support for Israeli policies.

So the name has been censored.

People can deny it all they want, they can twist themselves into teeny weeny pretzels, they can take two tons of umbrage...none of that matters....they are f***ing Jew haters. The End.
