(JEWISH GROUP) Man kicks door, yells antisemitic remark outside Jewish center near University of Michigan

A man was caught on surveillance video kicking the door and shouting obscenities outside a Jewish center near the University of Michigan, prompting a police investigation.

An unknown man was seen on surveillance footage around 1:42 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 kicking the front door of the Jewish Resource Center, 1335 Hill Street in Ann Arbor.

The man, wearing a blue sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, can be seen running up to the door before kicking it and running away, according to footage shared by the Ann Arbor Police Department.

As he was running up to the door, someone shouts, “Jake, stop.” Police believe this may be the suspect’s first name.

Someone can also be heard screaming “F--- Israel, F--- the Jewish people” as the man runs down the sidewalk.
