Atheists & Agnostics
Related: About this forumSo is there a good place to get atheist gifts?
Was listening to some Seth Andrews @ Christmas and was thinking I would like to start looking early.
Trump totally shut down the holidays in this home.

Other than that, any gift that doesn't have a religious theme would certainly be appropriate for an atheist or agnostic at Christmas.

(28,039 posts)Surely there are some organized atheist groups that might be helpful here.

(1,129 posts)icon fits the bill...
The only gifts that would not be suitable for giving to an atheist or agnostic would be ones that are specifically religious...
therefore, all other gifts, by default are good for anybody....
Atheism is not a "thing" or a "group" with associated symbols /icons/ traditions/ rituals...
of its own....
So, there is no official athiest gift shop....
just regular old stores.
And as a side note, some of us are open minded enough that we respect everyone's right to believe in whatever they want to... irrespective of our own philosophies...
Speaking for myself, I prefer to give gifts that will have significance/meaning to the recipient ....
which means that I will purchase & give a cross or rosary or other item to someone that I know embraces religious beliefs even though I personally do not.

...so all gifts are atheist gifts.
This of course presumes that your ethics exclude using people as gifts.

(57,349 posts)Every atheist I know loves books so consider buying those as gifts or getting them gift certificates to a locally owned bookstore.
