My mother was agnostic

She never set foot in a church except for weddings and funerals and she was more Christian-like in her words, deeds and actions than my aunt and uncle, who never miss Mass no matter where they are in the world, have ever been. Imagine that.

After my mother died, my aunt asked me if my mother believed in God and I answered "it doesn't matter; God believed in her."
