some of these holidays take everything out of us just to get through them.

Mother’s Day without my Mom. Spent it with stepson and stepdaughter who lost their Mom 19 years ago. I have been their stepmother for 47 years and love em to death.

We managed to tell funny stories and shared great memories.

Grief - the price we pay for loving.
