I'm not much of a computer person. I long ago realized that the Computer Gods do not like me, and often computers don't work very well for me. More than once I've had to call a help desk, and initially that can't solve the problem, which I already knew was a trivial problem that should have given way to my efforts, and then the help desk person can't help me at first. Although usually, the Computer Gods realize quickly they should not fuck with the help desk people, and allow the problem to be solved. This has happened more times than I care to think about.

On the other hand, the Parking Gods adore me, and I ALWAYS get good parking spaces. Always. I don't have to be the driver, either. If I'm a passenger in your car, and even if you normally never get a decent parking space, trust me, that if I'm in the car you will get a good space.

So maybe the Computer Gods realized that I, their despised one, gave you the advice and now are punishing you. Not sure what you have to do to correct this. But I do hope they ease up soon.

in the world that got a computerized reservations system. American was the first, Mohawk (a very small airline based in Utica NY) was the second. So I've been working on computers a lot longer than almost anyone, and very much longer than the kids at the help desks. So wouldn't you think the Computer Gods would like me? Really, there is no justice in the world.

was on March 5, and it affected my bank's log in page for a while but they had it fixed within a day.

... it will cancel out the Rec. you just tried to make.

Note: If you push it once and numerous other Recs. by other posters have to register with your Rec. it can take longer to tabulate and add up all those Recs. and then register the total Recs. to your account so you see the combined total.

Sometimes it is kinda wonky.

and I'm fairly certain that I only pressed it once the first time. After that the button appears greyed out and non-functional.

Instead of a rec it simply jumps to top of page ( "Back to top" ).

ETA: I successfully rec'd some things this afternoon, the last one at 2:49 p.m. CST. Updated Windows 10 yesterday. Did something here change between ~3:00 and ~7:00 p.m. CST today?

I am unable to reproduce any of these issues myself on desktop -- does this seem to be mostly happening to those of you using iPads?

Can't open Topics and Places on Left Sidebar.

Can open Main Forums, but if I click on Activism, nothing happens.

I also can't do DU Rec

using Edge, and I tried Chrome with the same results.

Odd that this is only affecting some people, but the functions which are being affected are related in terms of coding, which definitely gives us a clue. Sorry for the inconvenience while these functions aren't working properly -- hopefully Elad will be able to get this figured out fairly soon.

although the "Topics" links on the left-hand side of the window don't work (for me), the bolded links at the top of the window (DU Home, Latest Threads, ...) work just fine.
