Problem embedding a YouTube video

I'm trying to post a YouTube video, but it's not embedding. Here's the link:

https://www.youtube.com/live/N2mOVlZ77n4

Any idea why this is happening?

1. I just click on the video and when it starts, right click and I get a drop down that gives me the video URL

I click on copy video url and then just paste that into the post. I'm using Mozilla Fox, so that may be a different interface than you're using.

What I usually do is tap "share" under the video and then I get that drop down menu where I can select "copy link." I had no trouble copying the link and pasting it into a DU message. This video just didn't want to embed. Fortunately, ihaveaquestion had a solution (lol)! You can see it just below this post.

2. It has 'live' in the url, so this must have been from a live feed.

I'm guessing that live feed urls don't translate well in DU posts. Shorts don't post directly either.

If you substitute the text 'watch?v=' for the 'live/' text before the video code, it should translate.

Change this "https://www.youtube.com/live/N2mOVlZ77n4"

to the following:

"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= N2mOVlZ77n4" NOTE: I added a space after the v= to get it to display as text

Without the space, it displays the video:

I saw that "live" in there and wondered if that might be causing a problem but had no idea what to do. Thanks!
