Why am I not able to see anything I've posted in the last two months when I look under "My Posts"?
the search is also not pulling up anything when I search my own name. What's up, buttercups?

(19,892 posts)I know, the chances of blocking everything are nil, but when I dont see a post of mine, its usually because I trashed a word in it.
Dont forget (and this is a somewhat arcane fact), trash matches any word CONTAINING your term, so if you block camel, then camelhair will also be blocked.
Some people block Trump, which is why a lot of us shorten or misspell that name on purpose on OP titles.
Just a wild idea. Happened to me but not on this scale.
i don't think Ive heard that term. haven't done on purpose. thanks

(19,892 posts)My DU - Ignore List to block people.
The Trash lists are ignored on the DU home page, but are enforced on Latest, perhaps orhers.
Hope this helps.

(12,240 posts)False, 30 days, or 29 days.
My last post saved on that "page" (happens to be on page 2, the final page of it for me) is dated July 18.
This might not be what you are asking about, but it's important information to me anyway -- I save the Posts page about every 20 days by selecting them all, and do a copy and paste (and selecting keep original formatting) into a Word file dedicated for that purpose.
Then I do some formatting -- get rid of bold, make it arial 8, "paragraph" spacing 1.5 lines, etc.
The higher frequency, about every 20 days, is because the last week or so have dates like "12:22 PM" "YESTERDAY" "MONDAY" "TUESDAY", so when I scrape those again 3 weeks later, they are all replaced by dates like "Aug 16" etc. which are much preferable for a long-time archive.
It's quite a bookkeeping chore, actually. But a very important tool for finding old posts that I spent a lot of time writing.
so they LIE!
thanks!
