Need HELP! With Posting Images! Please!

I have created both an Imgur acct and a Photobucket acct and I can't get either one to post anything but a link to the image. Jeez. It should not be this hard! How do I get it to embed the image? Please help?

That's odd. Yes, I see my graph. Try this: Right click on that little square you see and choose "Load Image" /nt progree Mar 5 #10

1. When viewing your picture in Imgur, Right Click on the picture, click on Copy Image Link from the menu

that pops up, and then in your DU post, press Control V (that's paste)

The format looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/S314Fmt.png

and displays like this:

I'm using a Windows 10 computer.

I was using my phone (Android). Everything was the same, except all I ever saw was the link text. It did not display the photo in Preview. I'll try on my computer later and see if that works better.

If what I described doesn't work on my phone, there's an alternative that might... later, sometime after 3 PM CT

ETA - can you paste the link that you got into a reply? Yet another alternative is modifying it...

When I right-click on the pic in Imgur, nothing happens. And there is no pic when you wrote:

"and displays like this:" (nothing displays except a tiny question mark)

It appears you see different things in Imgur than I do.

If so, Right Click on it, and a menu of several choices should appear, including:

Copy image < -- DON'T click on this
Copy image link < -- DO click on this,

and then paste into your DU post with Control V

I know this isn't the same as getting a link from Imgur, but I'm wondering how this experiment goes for you

used to be able to upload pics to Imgur and then paste them into DU, but none of the options/choices work for me any longer. Not sure why. Is there any other service that works with DU?

I do wish the Admins could work on simplifying the posting of pictures to the forum. I used to post them easily from Imgur and Photobucket. Then again, Admins might not want to, as it would probably clog up/bog down DU.

none of the links in Imgur work for me. They used to.

Is there another image program that works on DU?
