Are people just more anxious now

I am. Money, handling car issues health. Contentious relationship. In the past, I wasnt like this. I felt "normal" and engaged. I'm home bound now. The ability to handle big life issues

Was it COVID? Orange anus? The feeling that the center will no longer hold? A confluence of things.? I don't remember feeling like this in 2005, but I wasnt disabled.

So many on here discuss their anxiety. What can we do? Is this the new normal?

1 way of another, covid, politics, wars, and the distortion of reality cant help but cause ripples.
esp the part about half the country living in a separate universe. for a lot of us it’s those ppl over there, but for many, it’s dad or a brother or a husband. i think every magat in the country must have at least 1 person in their life that is heartbroken.
