a bit of personal good news, or it's a small world

a few months ago i was pointed to a wishadoo post from a woman in my city who was looking for work and social services as she had just moved here and was living in her car. my company is constantly hiring, so i linked her to the application and gave her a list of resources in town.

last week i wore a dark crystal shirt to work, come monday she came up to me and asked if fizzgig was my handle online. i told her on some sites and she mentioned both wishadoo and du and i was floored. she told me she was the woman who posted on wishadoo and thanked me for pointing her in the right direction.

it made my day
