Hair

It's late and I should be going to bed, especially since I have to be up at the crack of dawn to go to the Farmers' Market. However. I put the DVD of Hair in the player.

It may be that I'm two gin and tonics in. However, that is one HELL of a movie.

That I remember the period extremely well may also be a factor.

Yet, meanwhile- so painfully connected to every event and emotion surrounding the War.

I always wonder if we could have ever had such a decade-long explosion of Creativity without it looming over our souls.

(A wild confluence of events provided to me an invitation to catch the original Production during Holidays/freshman year Semester Break in '68. And the previous night, I'd 'lost' my virginity. So, yeah...)
