In Praise of 'Good Boy'

I saw it with a buddy this afternoon. I am not a horror fan by any stretch, but I was intrigued by the concept of the movie being from a dog's POV. I'd read where some said it was a gimmick, but if felt natural as the movie unspooled. The emphasis is more on dread/suspense and less on the gore, but there is some blood shed. The dog, Indy, was a natural on screen, and you're pulling for him throughout. No spoilers here, but the ending, as the kids say, really hits you right in the feels.

A very enjoyable experience over all, and a movie to see if you like horror, and especially if you like dogs. And, pro tip if you go to see it: Stay past the credits for a quick making-of doc.
