Hail Mary is the finest film I've seen in my life.

I read the book awhile back, and had trouble imagining how a movie based on the book would be possible. I've just returned from the theater with my questions answered.

The story is quite brilliant, and the film makers managed to honor it with serious devotion to detail. It is human and humane, shocking and powerful. Frankly, it moved me deeply.

I urge everyone to take the time to see this film. If you haven't read the book, feel free to wait.

Honestly. I'm blown away. Ryan Gosling is great.

Every one of your recent posts is similar in nature. If you’re not interested in it, move along instead of bashing it.

Loved it! Lots of details from the book were left out of the movie. None of them really mattered for the telling of the story.
The theatre was packed, which I haven't seen since pre-pandemic. Lots of folks are interested in this movie.

2 adult kids. The audience was frozen. Almost no one got up for 2 1/2 hours - which is impressive considering no bio breaks for that long!
Agree - it's a really great movie! I think we collectively need something like this right now.

There's no cinematic experience that can't be made better by a bargain.
