The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

Netflix has an upcoming ten episode prequel series to Jim Henson's 1982 fantasy film The Dark Crystal.

Here's the trailer:

Looks pretty good - definitely captures the aesthetic of the original film.

it came out in 1982. A very good - and genuinely unique - fantasy film. Like you, I'm not a huge fan of the fantasy genre, but The Dark Crystal was very well done and was a groundbreaking film in terms of puppetry VFX.

I'll definitely watch this series.
