Angel Reese Calls Out ESPN for Dragging Her Into Olympics Controversy
Chicago Sky rookie phenom Angel Reese is tired of being pulled into the drama.
The 22-year-old forward has been a hot topic of conversation over the last month after being left off the USA women’s basketball roster for the Olympics, and after the team won gold on Sunday, many started debating whether Reese would be on the 2028 team, including ESPN.
In fact, ESPN published a story Sunday morning debating if Reese and Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark would make their Olympic debuts in Los Angeles in four years, to which Reese took exception for being drug back into the middle of things.
“Let’s just congratulate these women & let them enjoy this moment!” Reese tweeted. “Leave me out of this until my time comes!”
