Suns-Lakers rivalry's new twist: Deandre Ayton joins LeBron James, Luka Doncic

The Phoenix Suns rivalry with the Los Angeles Lakers just took an insane turn.

Deandre Ayton has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Wednesday, July 2, after the Portland Trail Blazers bought him out.

He’s set to make $34 million between the Lakers and Blazers, Charania reported.

Perhaps the most polarizing figure to play for Phoenix in recent memory is now with the Lakers.

I think he is a good center. Better than the centers that replaced him in Phoenix. I think it is a good move for the Lakers and should make up somewhat for not having Anthony Davis.
