Hannah Stuelke delivers stellar quarterfinal performance for United States
The United States (5-0) opened its 2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup knockout round journey on Friday morning, Iowa women's basketball star forward Hannah Stuelke showcased her best performance of the tournament during the Americans' 110-44 blowout victory over the Dominican Republic (1-4) in the 2025 FIBA Women's AmeriCup quarterfinals from Santiago, Chile.
Stuelke scored a personal-high 10 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the floor. In addition to her scoring, Stuelke made her presence known on the court by collecting eight rebounds, three steals, two blocks and one assist in 18:06 of playing time.
Through her dominance on the defensive side of the ball, Stuelke finished with a plus-42 point differential and a plus-18 point efficiency when on the court for the U.S.
The highlight of her quarterfinal performance came with 2:15 remaining in the second quarter when she received a breakout pass from Madison Booker off a steal for an easy fast-break layup.
