Ontario suspending 25% surcharge on electricity purchased by U.S. states - CBC News

Ontario is suspending its promise to add a 25 per cent surcharge on exports of electricity to some U.S. states, Premier Doug Ford said Tuesday afternoon.

apparently reached out to him with this proposal to suspend and meet as opposed to the other way around.

Plus, I think Canadians on the whole are too proud to let Trump get away with his bullshit, and know that most Americans actually agree with them.
