I am from Philadelphia. Philadelphians grow up with a very sensitive bullshit meter. My parents had it, and they passed it down to me. It was/is necessary for survival in Philly.

NASA Administrator. Well, there ya have it. Musk had big plans for NASA to make him big money. Another sad on us perpetrated by these monsters. NASA has been solid gold for almost 70 years. And deserves to continue as such.

Don, Elon, one finds strength in humility. It works, it really does. There is zero REAL STRENGTH between these two egomaniacal chuckleheads. Allow me to mangle a country and western song from way back which don and Elon can sing. If it weren’t for given strength I’d have no strength at all.

I can remember when I was in elementary school and they'd bring a TV into the classroom so we could watch those early launches live. And when I was at summer camp I was one of only 2 kids who got to watch the moon landing since I was near the camp nurse's cabin at the right time and she invited me and my friend in to watch on her small TV.

And we know that neither TFG nor Musk has any humility and that could be their downfall...

Love your posts about your childhood experiences. Excellent memory. I can bring to mind stuff that happened in the 60s but I struggle to remember what I was supposed to remember five minutes ago.

Their ego is otherworldly. There is no strength in ego. Do your job, do it well, be humble. And succeed and enjoy life. Those two can never enjoy life. Warped wiring.

But I'm often stumped trying to remember the name of someone I met 10 minutes ago...

And I have wondered so often what history will make of this dark and insane period in this country - assuming we have one.
