Conservatism is a sickness. It is selfish. It is evil. It is stupid. It is a cancer. And it is so damned easy for so many Americans to live their lives drenched in it.

The Christian fundie frreaks that support this goon want evolution out of science classes and want the teach "biblical science". They have been after this longer than they were after Roe v. Wade (by about 50 years longer). They do not want to allow any vestiages of the scientific revolution to remain, despite the fact that we are already falling so far behind the world in producing our own next generation of researchers and developers it is criminal.

Next up? Removal of all exhibits in the Smithsonian that do not preach Young Earth Creationism, then after that, they will begin purging the donominations that are insufficiently reformist for their liking - so watch out for the attacks (again) on the Catholic Church - you think it was an accident that Joe Biden, an openly practicing and religious man of Catholic faith was painted as a heathen? Or that the golden calf of politicians was chosen by them as the annoited of god?

This is building towards a second shooting Civil War and the longer we pretend it is not or could not, the bloodier and longer that eventuality is becoming.
