BREAKING: Texas Dem State Rep.: 'We're going to make every race a fight' - The Weeknight - MSNBC

The Texas House is on the verge of jamming through a new, severely rigged congressional map at the request of Donald Trump. State Rep. John Bucy III (D-Texas) and John Bisognano, president of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, join The Weeknight to respond. - Aired on 08/20/2025.

We are a "blue state," after all, though downstate is mainly responsible for that. We got redistricted in 2013, inherited a moderate Democratic congressman from up north. But since he retired in 2015, we've been stuck with Stefanik which makes no sense since she is wildly unpopular.
