A.I. Revolution - PBS Nova documentary

Premiered Mar 27, 2024

Can we harness the power of artificial intelligence to solve the world’s most challenging problems without creating an uncontrollable force that ultimately destroys us? ChatGPT and other new A.I. tools can now answer complex questions, write essays, and generate realistic-looking images in a matter of seconds. They can even pass a lawyer’s bar exam. Should we celebrate? Or worry? Or both? Correspondent Miles O’Brien investigates how researchers are trying to transform the world using A.I., hunting for big solutions in fields from medicine to climate change.

Well, much of the work that wrecks our bodies. However, if these tech bros think they're going to make the rest of us utterly irrelevant in their brave new world of their Ubermenschen kiddies, they're sadly mistaken.

Executives will dsappear as their departments are depopulated and then merged with other departments, so that is a given.

What we need to see is that universal basic income for displaced workers first.

What I do know is that world domination schemes based on any new technology have always failed.
