The 1,000% truth behind Trump's mathematically impossible promise to cut drug prices - Velshi - MS NOW

Donald Trump has been making some wild promises to bring down the price of pharmaceutical drugs. At one point, he said he would slash it by as much as 1,000%. It’s the kind of exaggerated, attention-grabbing publicity ploy that he has engaged with for much of his life. The only problem is that his promises are mathematically impossible. - Aired on 05/02/2026.

2. Same here! I try to watch Velshi's 3-hour show on the weekends since he covers so much!

Jacob Soboroff does the best when he reports from the scene, like he did in LA during the mass protests and during the tragic LA fires. I can't imagine he'll enjoy being confined to the studio like Ali Velshi unless he reports from the scene on recent news stories.

The other benefit of Ali Velshi is that he can cover for anyone on any other MS NOW show - and has!

I've yet to listen to the podcast with him and Stephanie Ruhle, not enough days in the week or hours in the day .

They used to have a show together, think it was called Velshi & Ruhle, where they talked about business and politics, similar to the weekly(?) podcast they're doing now.
