'They may have really overshot this': How redistricting could backfire on GOP - Velshi - MS NOW

The GOP are ahead in the redistricting war, but it may backfire nationally. MS NOW Elections Director Kabir Khanna says Republicans drawing out Democratic districts will, “add fuel to the fire in terms of engaging people and driving turnout,” when midterms usually have lower turnout.

“There were in 2024 over 9 million skippers on the Democratic side in battleground states, not just southern states, but battleground states,” says Democratic pollster Celinda Lake. “Those voters are coming out.” - Aired on 05/16/2026.

at least this indicates we will have an election.

sen cassidy was 3rd in a repub primary yesterday. 99% subserviance to trump is not enough.

jamie davis , our primary winner, is a black farmer from "across the lake" but maybe we can win this vs 100% maga julia letlow.

But the last time she made a public appearance she was boo'd off the stage, and this was way up north, so I'm hopeful.

And I don't think we'll have Reps on the ballot here in NY-21 until November. *sigh*
