'Good times for billionaires': Thom Hartmann on Trump admin ignoring the crisis - Velshi - MS NOW



While many middle and working class Americans struggle, the Trump administration is putting funding and attention towards massive, expensive apparent vanity projects, from an arch to a White House ballroom to a revamped reflecting pool.

Author and radio host Thom Hartmann says that "what's really destructive about this is how corrosive it is to public trust." Hartmann says that, while in past eras, there was a sense that "elites are sharing in the pain," right now, it's "good times for billionaires." - Aired on 05/17/2026.
