He’s an idiot. He has an air of someone who thinks more highly of himself than he should, and the being VP hasn’t necessarily proven to portend presidential aptitude.

We need to pay more attention to Rubio. He’s smoother and more intelligent than JDV and would consume him in a debate. Sec. of State experience is 5x better than VP. An idiotic VP can thrive in Washington, while an idiotic SOS will be found out quickly.

Rubio is wiley. Not necessarily a bad trait for a POTUS wannabe.

He may very well have a good campaign and good showing, but at the end of the day, they will nominate a straight male WASP, as they've done every election since 1856.

Would be DeSantis. They like governors. Senators arent generally ideal, Obama notwithstanding.

But, it’ll come down to whoever Trump chooses. Today, I still think that puts Rubio in the prime position.

Of course, one slip up on Rubio’s part and Trump would yank all his Rubio fondness like he was pull-starting a mower!

Picking the Republican nominee, I think, is easier. It’s far less clear for me to pick who our nominee will be. I would go with Newsom although I’m less sure if that in recent weeks. Still, it’s fun to speculate!
