Trump Uses the DOJ Like a Weapon Against his Perceived Enemies - Glenn Kirschner
Donald Trump is trying to fully convert the Department of Justice from being the people's law firm to being his own personal law firm, just so he can use it as a weapon in his hand to exact revenge against his perceived enemies.
He's even hung a picture of himself on the actual building, DOJ, as a visual symbol of what he's trying to do.
I sat down with Stacey Young, the founder and Executive Director of Justice Connection, to discuss, among other things Pam Bondi's attempt to stop state bar ethics investigations of DOJ lawyers, Kash Patel endangering the American people by, to quote the New York Times, "firing about a dozen members of an elite counterintelligence unit based in Washington, whose agents and analysts specialized in stemming threats of terrorism in the Middle East," and, yes, Stacey and I also talked about Donald Trump's mug being plastered on DOJ itself.
But if I can make a prediction: when the rule of law comes back into the light of day - and it will - that banner is coming down. Because - especially when it comes to the Department of Justice - justice matters. - Glenn Kirschner - 03/10/2026.
