Well, howdy there Internet people. It's Belle again. So, today we're going to talk about Trump and Hegseth trying to manage failure.

At this point, it's become clear to both Trump and Hegseth that this isn't going to go as they wished it would. Rather than the spectacular scenes of a couple of days of hits from the air, followed by the unconditional surrender of the regime, and then the students taking over Iranian institutions while flying the American flag, singing the Star Spangle Banner, and praising Trump for his vision and Hegseth for his military prowess. It turned into exactly the disaster that every expert said it would. Suddenly, the administration is starting to see why every other administration refrained from attempting this. It's not because they were weak. It's because they were smarter.

As average US gas prices soar, breaking the symbolic $4 level and projections surface of $5 gas on the horizon, Trump lashed out at allies again because that will certainly be productive.

Trump posted to social media, "All of those countries that can't get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz like the United Kingdom, which refuse to get involved in the decapitation of Iran. I have a suggestion for you. Number one, buy from the US. We have plenty. And number two, build up some delayed courage. Go to the Strait and just take it. You'll have to start learning how to fight for yourself. The USA won't be there to help you anymore, just like you weren't there for us. Iran has been essentially decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil.”

Okay, let's be clear. First, the reason countries are having a hard time with fuel isn't because of the Strait of Hormuz. It's because of Trump's failed plan and elective war that led to the closure of the Strait. Next, there was no decapitation of Iran. The regime is still in power. Trump's either lying or using terms he doesn't understand to sound cool. Then in this rant, he tells other countries to clean up the mess he made because he can't handle it alone. After months of running his mouth about how the US doesn't need allies.

Remember how earlier today we talked about our allies in Europe shutting us out because of Trump? Well, shortly after Trump's rant here, we lost another one. Italy has confirmed it will not allow air bases to be used to prosecute the Iran war.

In other news, Pete “we negotiate with bombs” Hegseth is now begging for Iran to negotiate while lying to the American people. He said “this new regime because regime change has occurred should be wiser than the last. President Trump will make a deal. He is willing and the terms of the deal are known to them.”

There was no regime change. that didn't occur. The regime is still very much in power. Trump is trying to change the definition of a word to mask his weakness, failure, and ineptitude. With these two refusing to listen to experts and wanting to run the war on memes, there's little chance of the situation improving.

Congress needs to get off its hands before we're sucked into another 20-year conflict all because Trump wanted to pretend to be tough.
