In the midst of an unpopular war with Iran and a heated pope fight, Jordan Klepper went to a TPUSA event in Phoenix to see if the MAGA crowd was still on board the Trump train.

They certainly are stylish.

Also, they seem to know nothing about anything. It is like a game for them or one big weird social club.

These are the voters who would overlook or make excuses for Trump's early boast that he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and never lose a vote.

Because these people see and hear only what they wish to acknowledge.

Corruption, war-mongering, war crimes, blasphemy, a wrecked economy, the Epstein files . . .they're all explained away or disappeared in the toxic stew of a True Believer.

Mind boggling!

Warren" t-shirt? I assume she's an Elizabeth Warren AND a Trump supporter. What's that all about? Don't these people get it?

However some things to remember when watching this video:

1. We don't know how it was edited. It's possible Klepper chatted with people who were semi-reasonable, but didn't include them in the final version, because they weren't that interesting.

2. This is not quite the same crowd he interviewed a couple of years ago. Since that time Trump has fallen out of favor with many on the right, and that includes some Magas. Those that went to his rallies then, but are unhappy with him now aren't going to show up at this rally. Only the most stupid, ignorant, hardcore Trumpers will come now. The bottom of the barrel if you will. But it makes for good TV.
