in fear for his life. Then on the other hand, denial runs strong with this jerk and his reality is whatever he wants it to be. He sees himself as tough and invincible so I'm not sure he could even hold the thought in his mushed brain that something terrible could happen to him. He has escaped accountability his whole life so - who knows?
