Trump goes off the rails with insane stunt - Another Day - Brian Tyler Cohen

Transcript:

Donald Trump makes his way to Florida to
see the sites, take in some sun, and
dehumanize people at every turn. This is
just another day.
While traveling in Florida's Everglades
today to survey the newly constructed
migrant detention center dubbed
Alligator Alcatraz, Trump finally got
the news he'd been waiting for. No, not
that his daughter Ivanka is totally cool
with incest. It was this.
Oh, thank you. Wow.
Thank you.
We may or may not have just heard what
it sounds like when Donald Trump
orgasms. Just an old man moaning with
people standing around and applauding.
But sadly, Trump had reason to gleefully
moan.
No, I'm okay. Today, the
Republican controlled Senate passed a
bill that would kick millions of
low-income Americans off of Medicaid and
food stamps while rewarding the
wealthiest in this country with more tax
cuts. And besides the truly catastrophic
effect that this legislation will have
on so many people, the tactic this
administration used to get it across the
finish line was just as depressing. And
that tactic, dehumanization, waste,
fraud, and abuse. What we're doing is
we're going off after waste, fraud, and
abuse. And there's a heck of a lot of it
out there. He wants to get rid of the
waste, fraud, and abuse. You return the
dignity of work to young men who need to
be out working instead of playing video
games all day. You We have a lot of
fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicaid. If
day in day out you paint 11.8 million
people receiving Medicaid as
undignified, wasteful fraudsters who are
abusing the system so they can sit
around playing Call of Duty all day.
Then over time, that cruel caricature
starts to feel like reality. The same
way for the guest at Mara Lago. A face
like this somehow looks normal, but it's
not reality because if it was, Donald
Trump wouldn't have incoherent answers
like this. Are you saying that the
estimated 11.8 million people who could
lose their health coverage, that is all
waste, fraud, and abuse? No, I'm not
saying that. I'm saying it's going to be
a very much smaller number than that.
And that number will be waste, fraud,
and abuse. What number is that? What
analysis are you are you seeing? Uh I'm
not seeing a number, but I know it's
much less than the number you gave. He's
got nothing, which is why he has to hide
behind dehumanizing rhetoric that paints
people who need real health care
assistance as lazy burnouts. And in
Donald Trump's Republican party, this
dehumanization tactic is a constant.
Since Donald Trump came down that
escalator, he has painted over 20
million undocumented immigrants as
murderers and rapists. And that line has
been playing on a loop ever since. When
you have illegal murderers and rapists
and heinous criminals, rapists, murders,
MS-13 gang members, nobody has any idea
where these people are coming from. And
we know they come from prisons. We know
they come from mental institutions,
insane asylums. We know they're
terrorists. And when you lump everyone
into one horrific category, it gives you
license to round up whoever you want and
say things like this. If the alligator
Alcatraz is the idea that if some
illegal immigrant escapes, they just get
eaten by an alligator or a snake or
something. I guess that's the concept.
This is not a nice business. I guess
that's the concept. If you you know, uh
the snakes are fast, but alligators are
big. We're going to teach them how to
run away from an alligator. Okay? If
they escape prison, how to run away.
Don't run in a straight line. Run like
this. And you know what? your cancers go
up about 1%. We should be appalled that
the president of the United States in
the year 2025 is laughing about
undocumented people being chased by
alligators. But a lot of people are not.
And that's because of the concerted
effort by Trump's Republican party to
hammer into our brains that every
undocumented immigrant is a member of
MS-13, no matter how bad the Photoshop.
I mean, for God's sakes, today DHS
tweeted this out, which not only shows
their completely callous approach to a
glorified internment camp, but is just
another example of how much this
administration just loves to
hawk hat merch. Donald Trump and his
party have nothing to stand on but
dehumanizing messaging. The current
candidate for the mayor's race in New
York is Zohran Mamdani, who is running on
the Democratic ticket, even though
Republicans want you to see him as I
think he's terrible. He's a communist.
surely someone who holds these values
and is quite literally a communist. He's
a communist. And if an American-hating
communist is trying to take over one of
America's greatest cities, then all of a
sudden actions like this seem pretty
acceptable. Your message to communist
Orhan Mamdani. Well, then we'll have to
arrest him. Look, we don't need a
communist in this country, but if we
have one, I'm going to be watching over
him very carefully on behalf of the
nation. Threatening to arrest a mayoral
candidate is utterly lawless and
authoritarian. Now, former mayors,
totally different ballgame. Donald Trump
is a master messenger who is willing to
vilify and dehumanize anyone that stands
in his way to get what he wants. We have
a at the head of the He's a
And Schumer is a Palestinian as far as
I'm concerned. You know, he's become a
Palestinian.
He used to be Jewish. He's not Jewish
anymore. He's a Palestinian. And you see
AOC, she's out there with her, you know,
bad IQ. Yes. The man who stared directly
into a solar eclipse and refers to
strollers like this, the uh thing that
could carry the babies around it, is
criticizing somebody else's IQ. Gone are
the days of moderates willing to work
across the aisle for issues like
campaign finance reform, immigration, or
gay rights. That Republican party of
yester year has disappeared faster than
Steven Miller's spray on to pay. But it
wasn't always like this. Elected
officials used to stray from their party
to achieve bipartisan legislation, and
that didn't used to be a career-ending
endeavor. a fact that Tom Tillis knows
all too well. His punishment for not
endorsing a bill that throws millions of
low-income people off of Medicaid was
not met with thoughtful debate or a nod
to his independent bonafides, but
instead Tony Soprano-esque threats from
the president of the United States that
forced Tillis out of office in one day.
I mean, I haven't seen someone quit that
fast since Matt Gates found out every
woman in his cooking club was a voting
age. And Trump did it again literally
today with Kentucky Congressman Thomas
Massie. After Massie voiced opposition
to Trump's bill, not only did Trump
tweet that anybody he endorses beats
Massie by 25 points, Massie is a bad
guy. His multi-million dollar campaign
apparatus has already formed Kentucky
MAGA, which despite their southern
location, still has just as much teeth
as regular MAGA. What happened to Thomas
Massie? President Trump is banning sex
changes on minors. Massie voted against
it. President Trump is cutting taxes and
saving Kentucky families $10,000. Massie
voted against it. President Trump is
securing our border and deporting
criminal aliens. Oo, let me guess. Uh,
Massie voted against it. Massie voted
against Trump again. I'm really good at
this game. And after Trump obliterated
Iran's nuclear weapons program, Massie
sided with Democrats and the Ayatollah.
Let's fire Thomas Massie. That's one of
their own, and it's not even an election
year. The Republican party is a
messaging juggernaut that will degrade
their opponents regardless of party so
they can shepherd through deeply
unpopular legislation with zero
dissent. My god, no one traffics in
lies and manipulation better than Donald
Trump's Republican party. Even the
tobacco companies that used to preach
that your doctor was a-okay with you
lighting up would be impressed with the
amount of deception coming out of the
GOP. And that deception can stand
because no one is willing to push back
and buck the party line. I mean, who's
going to call him out? the networks they
all consistently make all of their
appearances on Fox News, Newsmax, ON. Do
we really expect hard-hitting journalism
from Lindell TV? The fact that Mike
Lindell, a known conspiracy theorist and
election denier, has his own network is
so depressing that I just want to lay my
head down on any other pillow and just
pass out. But when this administration
routinely invites those, let's call them
mouthpieces into the briefing room, you
get exchanges like this. Uh would you
consider appointing uh somebody at DOJ
maybe to investigate the judges that
allowed for the political persecution of
you, your family, and your supporters
during the Biden administration? I love
you. Who are you? I'm Carol from Lindell
TV. Well, it's a very nice question.
That's not a question. That is a
microphone-based reach around. Whether it's
the lazy poors committing waste fraud
and abuse with Medicaid, murderers and
rapists taking over our country or
American-hating communists looking to
destroy New York City, the tactic is the
same. Shamelessly dehumanize your
opponents so that anyone who dares
defend them is viewed as being
sympathetic to the worst America has to
offer. Donald Trump and the GOP do not
care what's true. They care about a
consistent message, which is why we have
to call them out more than ever because
their biggest tool is the ability to
manipulate an ignorant audience. And
nothing gets them off. Oh, thank you.
More than that.
