1. Trump can't be held responsible for crimes out of US jurisdiction. That's what he pays foreign prison owners for.

I remember reading, most likely here, a published article from TFG's last term, criticizing Miller and his horrific policies, written by his childhood rabbi.

6. I agree with you, but I really don't get it. How can anyone hate that much to want to eradicate fellow human beings??

Hate is a heart choice, then if/when it's allowed to be an emotional habit, it then warps intellect, weakens the will, which can then darken the soul. There's no peace for such a one, and likely no love, so power over others might be all they can get; practice that enough and they can scale up to even commit crimes against humanity. Which is why systems of justice are targeted by ones like him, his boss, and his boss's bosses.

Lord knows... maybe people like him serve as a cautionary tale to the rest of us.

8. Thanks! The way I look at it, the percentage of the population who agree with him have subscribed to his campaign of hate

Is it really that easy? It's totally beyond me how anyone (except a hatemonger like Stephen Miller) could possibly agree with him or stand his war on the majority of humanity. And it's getting rapidly worse.

9. Sounds reasonable. So here's the thing...

77% of this country didn't vote for the felon. And simply not agreeing with him doesn't seem to be working because power never concedes without a fight. It's not about reasonably agreeing to disagree anymore. The hate and fear we're seeing has taken hold across years, so while the urge to hate is easy, it takes a "Project 2025" to channel it.
Perhaps the felon's kidnapping and shipping tens of thousand out without due process is part of his and Miller's whole fearmongering strategy on the 77%, such that they're immobilized by fear and depression, or others go into fight or flight mode.

I'm in a red state with a concentration camp just a few hours from where I live. We can't be in denial about what we see happening in our states, and we have to look to what has worked in other countries. Some of us in the 77% are leaving right now because they're not up for what they see coming at us. Yeah, sin is easy and power is addictive like crack. It's easy to be manipulated by haters who create fear of the "other" in large populations. Having databases, they could target any groups including the Democratic population.

Are there any safe harbors on the internet? No. We can't post our way out of fascism.
Are there safe harbors in blue states? Maybe, but we can see that ICE is now funded enough to attack them more than they've tried already. And too many of us, for whatever reasons, just can't up and move to blue states.

A lot can happen in the next 16 months before the midterms. But we can't become too alarmed or afraid to think. We have a lot to think about and have to look to what works even if it's not easy.
